A Backwards Situation

I went to the mall this weekend. There was a billion people there...mostly from our school, because of spirit week I'm assuming. A lot happened though. In pretty much every store, a security guard was calling someone's parents because someone was caught stealing. I watched a lot of this happen, and noticed that while the security guards were preoccupied with the people who were already caught stealing, other people took this as an opportunity to steal and not get caught. No exaggerations, I saw this happen at least 4 times and hear kids saying things like "Now would be the easiest time to get away with this." It makes me realize how screwed up our own minds are, as teenagers. The way it all happened seemed like complete backwards situations to me...and none of the other kids got caught.

Clothes; Girls vs. Boys

People get called up to the principals office all the time for different things. Every week, there's always one thing that seems a little bit..unfair to me, for them to be getting in trouble. Last week, someone got called up to the office because of what she was wearing, or more importantly, what she wasn't wearing. That would be completely understandable if I didn't notice at least five other girls dressed the same way, or worse, or even how some guys wear shirts that say a lot of controversial things on them. Once in a while, they'll be told to make it inside out or put on a sweatshirt, but for girls it seems so much different. Guys get away with so much more, when it comes to that kind of stuff.
